Kia Sportage SX joins the 2011 Kia Optima Turbo as a second vehicle in the U.S., a major feature of Theta II 2.0-liter turbo GDI engine and adds a unique external and internal features and luxury appointments to provide consumers with benefits high and high value CUV. Available exclusively on the Kia Sportage SX, orange and blue interior packages offer a variety of colors inside for potential buyers. The 2011 Kia Sportage SX front-wheel drive (FWD) features a starting Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $25,795 while all-wheel drive (AWD) models feature a starting MSRP of $27,295.


Kia Motors Theta II ’2.0-liter GDI Turbo powerful engine offers remarkable performance in-line four-cylinder turbo engine that produces up to 256 horsepower and 264 pound-feet of torque. Kia Sportage SX turbo uses a twin-scroll design, which offers improved combustion efficiency, the availability of low-end power and reduces turbo lag compared to traditional single-scroll turbo. Kia Sportage LX and EX trim comes standard with an engine 2.4-liter DOHC 16-valve four-cylinder with Continuously Variable Valve Timing (CVVT), which offers more power (up to 176 hp) and better fuel economy (22 / 31 city / highway) than the previous 2.7-liter V6 engine.
