There are 2 versions of this innovative Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution: the first is the GRS version, comes with Enkei wheels, Recaro Sports seats and has a five speed manual transmission system. Optionally you can get the HID headlights, the upgraded sound system and the spoiler as well.

 

These are really nice, but if you willing to pay for that extra thousand buck, just consider the next version: the MR, a really great vehicle which I’m driving now.

 

The MR version comes with Eibach springs, Bilstein shock absorbers, lightweight brake rotors, and BBS forged-alloy wheels. And starts with only $38,990, which is a great price at all.

 

Driving the 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR is so great thanks to the Mitsubishi's new Twin Clutch Sportronic Shift Transmission (TC-SST). It shifts incredibly instant and very smooth as if I think it does not lose any torque at all between shifts.

 

Furthermore, depending on how aggressive and fast you want to shift, you will have three modes: Normal, Sport and S-Sport, and with a price just $40,990, the Touring version is available for you.

 

As with other models, the Lancer Evolution's was built with the Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC) drive system, a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder MIVEC4 engine under the hood producing 295 hp and 300 pound-feet of torque.

 

As said above, driving this car is so great, the car performs on the city roads is very comfortable. Although I will have to say that you will feel right away when you hit bumps, but on good tracks it runs simply excellent, and to smoke some dumb hillbilly in a pickup truck off the stoplights was great as well.

 

On the highway, it was unbeatable performance. Thanks to the new gearbox you get immediate power when stepping on the gas, and of course very smooth shifting. Just really brilliant! Due to the local law enforcement, I speeded it up to 120mph, at the point when people thought that I was being chased by the cops, I decided to slow down. I then pulled off to the country roads, and drove it around the corners to see how good it can perform. Fast and smooth are the only things I can say. It's almost perfection at it's best.
When you buy a car like this, you're getting it for the overall experience of it. It's a great car for a great price.
