Hyundai Motor America introduced the all-new 2012 Accent with best-in-class standard fuel economy and power at the New York International Auto Show.

This marks the U.S. debut of the latest version of the popular subcompact sedan and the new top-of-the line, more functional Accent five-door. The 2012 Accent is slated to hit dealerships this summer.

2011 Hyundai Equus Specs Suspension Rebates Top Speed Price Color Features and Review

The new 2011 Hyundai Equus is super-luxury sedan with top ratings across the board in the Institute’s safety evaluations, qualifying as a Top Safety Pick. This car first public appearance in the 2009 New York Auto Show and have price range at MSRP from $58,000. The 2011 Hyundai Equus is a large luxury sedan available in Signature and Ultimate trim levels.

The 2011 Hyundai Equus powered by 4.6-liter V8 good for 385 hp and 333 lb-ft of torque when running on premium fuel (the use of regular fuel reduces output fractionally to 378 hp and 324 lb-ft). This rear-wheel-drive car is equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission. In testing, the Equus went from zero to 60 mph in 6.7 seconds, which is slower than other V8-powered luxury sedans. According to Hyundai estimates, the Equus will achieve 16 mpg city/24 mpg highway and 19 mpg combined.

The 2011 Hyundai Equus comes standard with stability and traction control, antilock brakes, electronic seatbelt pre-tensioners, active front head restraints, a lane-departure warning system, front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, a driver-side knee airbag, front and rear side airbags, and side curtain airbags.

2012 Hyundai i40 Specs Rebates Suspension Top Speed Color Price and Review

Hyundai i40 sporty design does not affect the levels of interior comfort. The wheelbase is 2.77 meters and offers the best car in its size class of front head (1,025 mm), shoulder (1,455 mm), and foot (1,170 mm) in the room. This impressive volume promises to give all passengers are spending a long time in the Hyundai i40 D-segment in travel as comfortable as possible. Cargo capacity of the Hyundai i40 more than holds its own among competitors in the class, with figures ranging from 553 liters of the rear seats in use up to 1719 liters of the rear seats folded down.


The all-new Hyundai i40 is available in a choice of four Euro V-compliant engines: two petrol and two diesel. These units cover the scattering power of 115 ps to 177 ps, where the maximum torque to extend the wide range of engine speed, making the Hyundai i40 car fun to drive in city or highway. Hyundai, all new 2-liter four-cylinder GDI, called “Nu”, makes his debut in the Hyundai i40, promising to produce more torque (for enhanced driveability), plus undiminished durability and excellent NVH characteristics – similar to multi-point engine.
The Hyundai i40 equipped with GDI (gasoline direct injection) this 1,999 cc unit generates 177 ps and 213 Nm of torque which ensures that the i40 boasts best-in-class performance and fuel economy. An Hyundai i40 with this engine and a six-speed manual gearbox will accelerate to 130 kph (81 mph) in just 15.7 seconds, record fuel economy figures of 6.7 l/100 km (combined cycle) and achieve a CO2 rating of just 156 g/km.


High-tech features of Hyundai i40 include intelligent parking assist and ways to maintain support systems, and components such as Bluetooth ® connectivity with voice recognition and full map navigation with rearview camera. In terms of comfort and convenience, the Hyundai i40 will be available with an electric parking brake, front air ventilation seats, heated and reclining rear seats, as well as new features for the segment like auto-defog system, and a heated steering wheel. Advanced lighting innovations, such as standard day-time running lights with Xenon headlamps or an LCD supervision instrument cluster, will further strengthen the Hyundai i40′s position as the lead model in Hyundai’s line-up and the European D-segment.

Hyundai Blue2 Concept materialized the sporty and luxurious, a combination of futuristic, flowing designs and features of the environment. Hyundai Blue2 has a low-resistance tires and alloy wheels designed to improve aerodynamic performance.
